Fall finally arrived in late October. The leaves fell off our trees, and Tommy and I spent an afternoon raking leaves. Tommy LOVES to help out, especially if he's really doing something. So, we bought him a pint sized rake and he and I made nice piles!

See just how many leaves there really were! So many that we needed to call in the heavy equipment to help haul them away!

Tommy worked on some intellectual achievements too - and learned to spell his name. (The fine motor skills need some work, but with a little imagination, you too can see his name)

But, since all work and no play make Tommy a dull boy, we took many trips to the park. Tommy loves the slide.
And he discovered that it's a nice way to fly a rocket (that's the red thing in his hand).

And just after Thanksgiving, we got the Christmas tree! Tommy was soo excited to help decorate. Notice the number of ornaments clustered near the bottom!

All this hard work and play should make a boy want to sleep - if he wasn't so busy playing with his sister too!
