On the 4th of July, we went to Aunt Mary's house for a party with Mary's family and John, Melody and Sean, who were visiting from Minnesota.
They had ice cream. Hmm hmm good.

And messy. Mary's Megan is getting bigger and bigger - old enough to help out!

And Rachel is nearly grown up -- and was good enough to push Maria on the swing. Over and over again.

Daddy and Tommy played soccer for a bit.

And then Tommy threw the 'poppers' -- tiny fireworks that give a bang when they hit the ground. Real progress from last year, when he wouldn't touch them!

And then the kids did sparklers.

And more poppers, and finally -- fireworks! They were very anxious to try the turtle.
