On Christmas Eve, we got all dressed up, and tried to take the kids' picture. Just how hard can it be to get a picture where both are sitting up, both smiling, no one has their hands up....
Got it at last!
We then went to the Family Service, where the middle school kids acted out
the story of the Nativity, using the story of a barn mouse.
The little ones got to dress up like mice. Maria thought this was a great idea.
Tommy would have nothing to do with it.

Then it was home to dinner, and finally, opening PRESENTS!
Oooh, a fire truck! OK, time to stop and play.
Maria got a sweater. But what really captured her attention was the easel. Looks like we might have a lefty here!

Even Tommy got into the act.
And then the stockings were hung by the chimney with care. With a bit of fear that Santa might be there.
