The MAJOR event of August was "Big Truck Day" at the local rec center. They fill the parking lot with big trucks, and the kids get to climb in them, talk to the drivers and see the trucks. Very cool.

We started with the school bus. We went with Tommy's best friend, Max, and his dad, Joe.

We paused for some sunscreen and discovered that a lot of kids like to honk the horns of the trucks. VERY loud!

They also had a children's ambulance for us to climb in.

But our FAVORITE trucks, hands down, were the fire trucks. First we saw the antique fire truck.

Then we got to climbin in the pumper truck.

And then we got to pretend to drive!

And then we tried out a few more trucks.

And we wrapped up the day in the big sand pit!
