We drove into Yosemite in the dark, so we didn't get to see much until the next morning. We were, however, seranaded by Maria's song: I love You-sem-i-te.
Our first stop was to see the grove of Giant Sequoia Trees. They are indeed BIG trees.

We walked up to see one tree that had a 'walk through' carved out in the late 1800s.

And then Maria decided she'd had enough of BIG trees, and found what she called a "one person tree" and a tree root "just my size".

And we had a bit of "wild"life sighting too -- this deer (these deer - we're not sure if it's the same one or not) was remarkably unfazed by people.
