Initially, I used to forward any humourous articles I received to a few of my friends. Friends of those friends requested to get material as well. But mailings were quite sporadic. In January 1996, I decided to tag on a subscription notice (which you're all quite familiar with!), and to try and send out daily mailings. In January there were only 20 or so addresses, but ever since it has been growing, and growing, and growing, and growing! :-) There are over 8000 people receiving a daily dosage of laughter now.

Here are some points about the list and the mailings...

• It's FREE!
• There is usually one message of less than 5Kb every weekday, sent between 18:00 and 23:00 [GMT +06:00 -- That's local time in Sri Lanka, in case you're wondering!].
  Just to satisfy your curiosity, the time in Sri Lanka is now:
• Credit is given to original author if known.
• The individual who contributed the message is mentioned, unless requested not to.
• Unless specifically mentioned, the list does NOT own copyrights to any of the material sent.
