We started our visit to Yellowstone with a picnic in the woods. It was the 4th of July, so a picnic was in order.
Tommy wasn't too happy about the bugs, but Maria was thrilled with the package of chips. (Just wait until she learns what's IN that package!)

On entering the park, we got some nice views of wildlife....

Then we saw our first geysers and "paint pots" -- Maria rode in style there, while Tommy was a little worried by all the steam.

And then there were the geysers too.
